The Blackmouth Bicolor Chromis (Paraglyphidodon nigroris) is a small reef fish typically found among the Indo-Pacific Ocean. They frequent reefs or lagoons where they hide among seagrass and coral, seeking shelter from predators. Juveniles have a vibrant yellow body with two horizontal black stripes, while adults have a grey/blue anterior which fade into a yellow posterior and caudal fin. They do best in pairs and can be semi aggressive when spawning. They should be kept in a tank of at least 20 gallons with plenty of live rock and places to hide. Due to their small size, they should not be kept with larger, predatory fish.
