The Blastomussa Wellsi Coral, Blastomussa wellsi, features a red color palette with mediums sized polyps that cover the skeleton. Found in the Indo-Pacific regions, the Blasto Wellsi is a hardy coral that prefers moderate lighting and waterflow. As it does not possess sweeper tentacles it is a very reef safe species. They are best kept towards the bottom of a sandy-bottomed tank where they feed photosynthetically. This is a gorgeous mainstay of the marine home aquarium and thrives well in most conditions.
