Galaxea Coral, Galaxea fascicularis, features long sweeper tentacles over a dome shaped skeleton. Often colors vary from deep greens to purples and browns. This coral propagates easily in the tank so long as it is kept with moderate to strong water flow and moderate to high lighting. It is photosynthetic but will benefit from supplemental carnivorous feedings. Be careful with its stinging tentacles while handling and be sure not to place it near other corals.
The Seaside Galaxea has a brilliant green/yellow and deep dark blue color with light tips.
