In terms of care, maintaining a suitable aquarium environment is crucial; it should include stable water parameters, gentle filtration and non aggressive tank mates, and plenty of hiding spots to mimic their natural habitat. Seahorses thrive in tanks of at least 30 gallons, with a temperature range of 72-78°F and salinity levels between 1.020 and 1.025. They require a diet rich in live or frozen foods, such as brine shrimp and mysis shrimp, to ensure their health and vitality.
